Show HN: Snap Commands
snapcommands.com
Did you know that filmmakers, youtubers, audiobook creators often record anywhere from 10 to 50 hours of raw content for every 1 hour they keep? Snap Commands automatically clips out that 1 hour of usable footage from that raw footage saving hours of tedious editing.
How? Use simple voice commands while you record, similar to what you already use:
"Snap Action" - To start a take.
"Snap Cut" - To throw the take away.
"Snap Keep" - To keep the take, or "Snap Better", or "Snap Best" to keep and grade the take.
Snap Commands will process your raw video (or audio), find your voice commands and extract your takes.
More Commands automatically organize your takes, like:
"Snap Shot [Shot number and name]" - Groups takes into shots.
"Snap Scene [Scene number and name]" - Groups shots into scenes.
"Snap Sequence [Sequence number and name]" - Groups your scenes into sequences.
I know HN isn't stacked with content creators, but please share with friends and have them reach out to me with comments and questions.
