I support Israel (10/7 was horrible and I know a person who died then) and the First Amendment, but this hearing is absolutely hypocrisy.
If you are a free speech absolutist, then federal anti-discrimination laws are themselves antithetical to the idea of free speech.
Conversely, if you are opposed to hate speech and disinformation, then you agree that moderation is needed, which itself can be viewed as a violation of free speech as an absolutist.
