Swiss army knife maker innovates to meet global blade restrictions

As a character in Patrick OBrien's Aubrey/Maturin novels says (roughly paraphrased): "half an inch of cold steel will do, if you know how to use it"
But a blade-less swiss army knife could still be interesting, albiet slightly strange. I use the screwdrivers and bottle opener far more often than the blade on mine.
“... a multitool IS a set of keys. It's a set of possible creative interventions in your immediate material environment. That is why you want a multitool. They are empowering.”
I carry one everywhere. I used the knife yesterday to open a taped-up cardboard box. In fact, that's one of the most used functions. That and the tweezers and scissors.
How can those blades be "weapons"? They don't lock! They're not designed for stabbing or anything like that, like a hunting knife. You'd be pretty desperate to threaten someone with one. If someone threatened me with a swiss-army knife I'd probably laugh at them.

I was amused to see a huge pile of extra tweezers in a knife display the other day (50 centimes each). When I told my wife why people in the States might be losing their tweezers, she replied, "oh, here, we just roll* tobacco at the end and then you don't bother with the roach".
* the stereotypes about organisation are true: not only are the condoms next to the pregnancy tests in the vending machines, but the rolling papers are next to the lighters.
My pocketknife gets used literally every day, for one thing or another. Am I supposed to go knap some flint? Or will they outlaw rocks, next?
On the other hand: there are new businesses and new market and a whole plain-old-future just to use all that super steels but old Victorinox is scared out of business ?? Idiotic just like artisanal electrificians cloing businesses just as electric cars start to hit mass market... Some adjusting is needed, that's all !
But some business diversification is obviously good.
