What is the context here, wrt relevance to Mozilla's mission? Anyone know? Are they planning a new feature for firefox, for example?

From what I can gather it's just another side project (somewhat common at Mozilla). The project's stated purpose is to support and enable local AI.

I don't know, but I really hope it's not that.
