Ask HN: Keeping faces off AI face search engines

After listening to a podcast about AI face search engines I became increasingly worried about photos of family members/children/elderly that may not be up to speed or even able to access the search engines to prevent their face being shared online.

What is the best preventative measure for keeping oneself off these search engines? Is it purely running searches on yourself/family and removing whatever you can?
