Use Wikipedia as a starting point - don't copy from it. Structure your comparison and use the sources linked from Wikipedia (all excellent) and work from there.

i do that in general but i cant find all the details i am searching for example about supercruise, there is just a little part about the engines, so also no links to follow, but thanks for the tipp

Wikipedia has hundreds of links to external sites, both news sites and official US military pages. And Lockheed has a whole web site devoted to the F-35. it‘s also prominently linked on Wikipedia.

Maybe your „I won‘t look at Wikipedia“ policy is dumb?

I totally agree, I think that policy is bullshit but i'll loose about 20% of my grade, or can even get banned for the swiss type of finals if I use anything wiki like, and i dont really have a problem with the f35 data, more with the gripen because yes there is a website and bla bla but i couldnt find things like wether it can supercruise or not and with what payload, thats the reason i landed here cause i saw people arguing but i cant use it, so i was asking if anyone maybe has links or so

> if I use anything wiki like

Why would you lose grades when Wikipedia tells you „there is www.f35.com“, but not when someone on HN tells you „there is www.f35.com“?

Well it makes no difference but i can't find enough details on wikipedia, f.e about Supercruising with the Gripen-E wikipedia or Saab only mention the engines itself a little bit, so no "ww.f35.com" to follow there, that is my problem.

Have you searched for "f35.com" on the F-35 Wikipedia page? There are four mentions of it.

Enter the address into your browser. The page exists. It seems to be Lockheed Martin's official page for the jet. Your teachers surely won't blame you for using information from that page, even if you've gotten the link from Wikipedia.

It is very likely the policy is meant to prevent lazy students from copying text from Wikipedia, not from using the sources mentioned there.
