Struggle as a Indie Hacker

Hi Great Entrepreneurs ! I want your advice. I have been working on a few projects such as tools website, few blogs. all are monetized with Google Adsense. But not of them have made me a single dollar in the last 3 years.

Do you know if I am doing anything wrong, or is it similar for you as part of the initial journey? Please share your experiences for inspiration as an indie hacker.

It doesn't matter if you are an indie hacker, a freelance or a VC-backed startup founder.

You need to talk to (potential) users to understand their needs and problems and offer a solution to that. In the whole indie hacker community it feels like a lot of people build products that target other indie hackers. Not sure what to think of this but they all have similar problems.

However, a lot of products / startups never make any money.

How do you go about deciding what to build?
