Rabbit itself is a wrapped android app [1].

The vision is just what everyone is working on -- connecting LLMs to tools. Wake me up when it can do half of what Google Assistant can already do for me. I'll add that Google Assistant is free, and fast.
It’s becoming more common now but that doesn’t mean it’s not worthwhile.
Mine doesn't even last as a glorified spotify controller mostly chilling in idle.

What _are_ you expecting then? The hardware doesn't let you replace your phone and it isn't more convenient either. Pixel phones respond to "OK Google" faster than you can press this thing's button.
It was fairly clear to me that this is a very, very early product and space. Time/abilities will help refine it for its purpose. The small screen, mic, and camera I thought was a good enough start at a low price point to see what a dedicated machine could be. There’s a whole lot more they can do from here.
Isn’t the vision just “ai agent + playwright logged into all your accounts”? And it can’t be an app on your phone because no app store would allow that?
No.
