Creative ways to say "I don't give a fuck" professionally

Reminds me of a time when I was a dev team lead and I needed a decision on something that affected my team's work. Either choice was fine for us; we just needed a decision so we could get started.

I really didn't want to get involved in the decision making process. This manager had a history of reversing his decisions depending on who he spoke to most recently.

So I was all set. Go into his office and ask for a decision. That's all I need.

But he can't make decisions, that's the problem. So he asked me to explain both options and give my opinion on the pros and cons of each. Ugh. I didn't care about this. Eventually we had a decision.

A week later he changed his mind and we had some rework to do.

My favorite is US Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch's "Putting that aside."

Nobody is remotely fooled by these, especially if they're proceeded by a good ten minutes of eye rolling, distain or fidgeting.

Seriously: if you really DGAF they know. How do I know? Because I routinely DGAF, have used all of these, and I get told afterward. Everybody knows.
