Quite obvious that in 5 years most HN readers are queuing for neuralink. The speed improvement does not come from code writing perse, but verification, you can run all failure paths in your head 1000 times faster.

Btw, I was speaking with someone on the r/lexfridman post on this topic who raised similar concerns. They got their comments shadow-deleted, and then got banned from the sub entirely.
It's an input/output channel. But it could connect parts of the brain that are normally not connected, so like synesthesia [1], but on purpose.
