Show HN: Listen to articles in your favorite podcast player

I use text-to-speech (TTS) to keep up with my reading list. It's really convenient to be able to listen to newsletters and blog posts while I do the dishes or commute. But I was constantly disappointed with existing solutions. They either use bad TTS with unnatural pronunciation, or awkward audio players. But it doesn't have to be like this! Excellent TTS exists, and most of us already have great audio players installed on our phones--podcast apps. So I wrote this service that combines the two. Simply send text to a special email address, and the audio will show up in your podcast player.

Sign up and give it a try! Every account comes with trial credits and doesn't require billing information to get started. I've also prepared a demo dashboard for Hacker News: https://www.readit.bot/demo You can add the feed URL to your podcast player if you want to see it in action. For copyright reasons, I've populated the feed with public domain books, but I've put a lot of effort into making it work well with newsletters and articles. I'm excited to know what you think.
