Show HN: Built Gemini-Powered App to Merge Docs, Create Books for AI Competition

Hey HN,

I’m excited to share a new app I built for the [Gemini AI API Developer competition](https://ai.google.dev/competition). This app is designed to streamline the document creation process, especially for those who need to merge multiple documents into a single, cohesive output.

What It Does:

Merge Multiple Documents: Seamlessly combine any type of document—Google Docs, Word, PDFs, EPUB and more—into one unified file.

Create Books and Worksheets: Authors, educators, and technical writers can use the app to assemble books, worksheets, and other large projects, especially when working in a modular or component-based approach. Books can also be created using prompts, and unique worksheets can be generated for each student.

Chapter Summaries with Gemini: The app leverages Gemini to automatically generate summaries for each chapter, providing a quick overview or an essential summary of the content.

Why It’s Useful:

For Authors and Writers: This tool is perfect for those working on large writing projects who need to merge various chapters or sections into a single manuscript.

For Educators: Teachers can create comprehensive and personalized worksheets by merging different resources, making it easier to distribute and manage educational materials tailored to each student.

Unified Output: The app supports merging documents from different toolchains, ensuring you can pull in content from various sources and formats without hassle.

I built this app with the goal of simplifying the often tedious process of document merging and management. Whether you’re an author, a teacher, or anyone who deals with large amounts of content, I hope this tool makes life a little easier!

Check it out, and I’d love to hear your feedback!
