I'll save you the read of the overly verbose article: The extinction event asteroid likely kicked up enough stuff from earth with enough energy to make it to the moon.

So instead of the BS about DNA preserved in ambar (it doesn't actually work), Jurassic Park should have dinosaur DNA recovered from frozen samples collected from a shaded moon crater?

You just saved the franchise.

the BS about DNA preserved in ambar was just storytime BS, Michael Crichton himself repeatedly told people the same thing: that he'd made it up as plausible sounding technobabble. But it was BS because of a hard limit to the longevity of DNA in any fossilized context.

Material blasted from the earth maybe including a few animal parts isn't nearly so rigidly improbable, or impossible. We know that massive amounts of ejecta went far into space, and a lot almost certainly slammed into the moon.

Half-life of DNS bondings is about 10k years.

Even at cryogenic temperatures? Some lunar pole craters have regions of permanent shadow, with temperatures close to -200C.

And you know this with certainty because? Look up the energy values of the KT event. Immediately after the asteroid made the Chicxulub crater, it ejected an estimated 64 times the mass of the asteroid itself into the atmosphere, orbital space and into deeper space. That's maybe 50 to 60 Trillion tons of ejecta.

You know for a fact that there's no possibility of prehistoric animal parts to have flown right out into space with such a vast volume of shit?

There's already credible evidence of rocks from earth peppering the moon and in a few cases making it all the way to Mars and Venus because of the impact. A few organic pieces (bone and other hard organic body parts at least) reaching the very nearby moon isn't all that far-fetched at all.
