The allure of social media has always been to see what your friends and colleagues are doing, organise social activities and maybe run into a cool new book or recipe.

Social Media became a hub of the worst political opinions you have ever seen because political content drives engagement and engagement drives advertising money.

People don't want "Echo Chambers" they want to go back to not feeling like they are constantly under attack by the worst terminally online people possible.
