Show HN: Chrome and Firefox extension to right-click and verify a link is safe

The Chrome and Firefox extensions for Safelyx are now public! If you'd like to simply right-click to verify if a link is safe (including anti-virus if it's a file) or if an email is legit, check it out!

The code is OSS at https://github.com/safelyx/browser-extension and you get 5 checks for free per month, per IP address.

Thank you for your attention!

It should be a "Show HN" https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html

D'oh! Thanks, fixed!

Does it automatically dock 3 points out of ten if a website is not aged? Why did Moonala.com get a 7/10?

Websites "start" at 7 points (cautiously safe), then they can get more points if they're older and have minimal or no tracking or JS, for example, since those are common attack vectors. Manually looking at Moonala.com it seems it has quite a bit of tracking and JS, so it didn't get any extra points.

If their IP or domain is found in any malicious/malware list, they instantly get 0 points, for example.
