video2json – Transcribe and analyze *hours-long* videos

Hi HN,

We recently gave our backend a major facelift, and can now handle multi-hour video transcriptions -- turn a 3-hour podcast, a 90-minute keynote, or a full-length lecture into structured, searchable JSON. Unlike most APIs that choke on anything over 30 minutes, ours handles 3+ hour videos with ease.

Every other API we tried would either reject our 1+ hour files, timeout or crash, give us a long text output with little to no structure. So we decided to take matter into our own hands - check out the guide and let us know what you think.

Would love feedback from anyone working on podcast tools, lecture search, or video search and analytics! Ping us on Discord (https://discord.gg/AMApC2UzVY) if you have a commercial use-case that you'd like to test, happy to offer free credits.
