DHS Is Considering Reality Show Where Immigrants Compete for Citizenship

I'm not a fan of the Daily Mail but they published the story first and with a variety of telling details: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14713113/DHS-Secret...

I often make grumpy remarks blaming TV for social ills, but this is beyond parody. Guy Debord (author of the The Society of the Spectacle) was right all along.

Is this what this country has come to. The founders must be turning in their graves. ‘Gladiator’ games, ‘Squid game’ - whatever you want to call it, this is modern day fascism.

This is the product of truly sick minds.

I thought Squid games was fiction.

The people in this administration revel in cruelty. It is their sole motivation.

Maybe we could call it "Squid Game"

Combine this with "AGI" (Replacing people's jobs), Universal basic income, and currency devaluation and you will get a pantomime state and those who turn on the TV will be seeing the next series of Squid Game.

What a great idea for the dystopia. /s
