As we don’t know what kind of music aliens find offensive, perhaps we shouldn’t do this until we do know?

How do we know if aliens will perceive music as music and not just a form of language or something else entirely?

How do we know if they would find any form of communication offensive which we would need to use to establish first contact?

We don't even know if the concept of offensive exists elsewhere
