Painting with Math: A Gentle Study of Raymarching (2023)

The interactive examples are super fun. Hidden in there is also a link to the author's procgen terrain generator/viewer: https://r3f.maximeheckel.com/sdf6

The inline examples have editable code, but that one's kinda nice because you can just tweak a few knobs.

Not related to this but I can’t stand when people add gentle to things as if it helps. It seems so creepy and doesn’t actually change anything

“Gentle reminder to xyz”

What are you walking up behind me and sensually whispering in my ear?

We all have our peeves.

Mine is the default website template the website has.

"Gentle introduction" is a pretty typical phrase, meaning more or less that the acceleration curve of learning is a gentle slope. That one doesn't irk me.

"Gentle study" is a bit unusual.

"Gentle ping" or "Gentle nudge", and especially "Gentle reminder", are starting to get a bit more annoying, but I think the intention there is try to convey the opposite of being demanding, but over a textual medium. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
