Show HN: Smart Reply – Break Language Barriers, Make Email Communication Simple

Hi HN!

I'd like to share a tool I built to solve a daily frustration of mine: *Smart Reply* – an AI-powered email assistant that handles multilingual communication seamlessly.

The Problem

As someone who frequently communicates with international vendors and users via email, I found myself stuck in an inefficient workflow:

1. Copy incoming email content

2. Paste into translator to understand the message in my native language

3. Draft a reply in my native language

4. Translate the reply back to the sender's language

5. Send the email

This process was time-consuming and became particularly painful when dealing with multiple emails daily. I figured others might share this pain point.

The Solution

Smart Reply streamlines this entire workflow into just a few clicks:

1. *Paste email content* – Simply paste the original email

2. *One-click translation* – Instantly understand the content in your native language

3. *Choose reply style* – Select from various communication styles (professional, friendly, diplomatic, etc.)

4. *Add custom requirements* – Optionally specify additional context or requirements

5. *Generate bilingual response* – Get a polished reply in both languages side-by-side

6. *Copy and send* – Review and send directly

Key Features

1. *Instant translation* to help you understand incoming emails

2. *Multiple reply styles* – from formal business to casual friendly

3. *Bilingual output* – see both your native language and the target language

4. *Custom context* – add specific requirements or background info

5. *20+ languages supported*

Early Feedback

I initially shared this with friends who deal with international communication, and the feedback has been encouraging. They found it significantly more efficient than the traditional copy-paste-translate workflow.

The tool is live and free to use. If you also struggle with multilingual email communication, I'd love for you to try Smart Reply and share your thoughts.
