That said, the "leave your phone behind" use case never appealed to me, and turning my watch's radios on in regular operation would reduce its battery life by an order of magnitude. Oh, there's obviously a fashion for the pretense of a tech-free life, but it never seems to improve the equanimity of its pursuers and so I haven't really seen the appeal.
