Intel refreshes non-Ultra Core CPUs with new silicon for the first time

Like some of the comments I'm not particularly interested in an NPU where I would like lots of cores to run a combo NAS and home plex/jellyfin type server. Either on mobo sata or a pci riser, and there you are.

Radxa make arm and N100 mini itx models of this kind. A faster or runs-cooler intel option is always interesting.

Two performance cores and 4 eco looks like phone cpu performance. And after A Neo it looks like low cost laptops or business boxes. Finally thin clients arrive ? Or maybe that is that "ai pc" - pc that use remote ai for reading your mails :>> And storing them and more training ofc...

> The only potential bad news—and that heavily depends on your perspective—is that the new chips’ built-in NPU falls far short of the 40 TOPS that Microsoft requires for PCs to earn the Copilot+ PC label.

An interesting detail, given the ongoing rumours that the next major version of Windows will require an NPU with a certain amount of performance.
