The Next Generation of Eventide – shaped by a decade of event sourcing

Author here. Eventide is an open source Ruby framework for event sourcing, autonomous components, and message-based architecture built on PostgreSQL (via Message DB).

This post is the second in a three-part series. Part one covered the development history. This one lays out where we're headed: better developer experience, streamlined internals, first-class messaging patterns, and expanding contribution opportunities. Part three covers how contribution and licensing will evolve.

Happy to answer questions about the architecture, what we've learned from a decade of production use, or where the project is headed.
