Is it a fact that when these devices come the process to unlock will remain the same?
There is little information available about the future devices. I think they are just extrapolating from prior unlockable Motorola devices. IMO it's not worth speculating until there is some official information or someone has actually tested on one of the devices.
At least there's still hope. It would be weird that this would be allowed to stand, with first-class GOS in the picture now.
