Ukrainian operatives are in Mali, embedded within the FLA militants in the North

>Ukrainian specialists have been deployed to the junta-led country in Africa’s Sahel region to assist local rebel forces who are fighting Russian troops

Now follow the link under the words "rebel forces"[0]:

>Since militants linked to al Qaeda and the northern separatist Tuareg rebels launched simultaneous attacks on April 25 — the most audacious in over a decade — Mali has plunged deeper into chaos.

A country that deliberately targets passenger buses[1] is helping "militants linked to al Qaeda" - no surprise at all.

CNN is posting that on September 12th, I guess a day later it's okay to praise Ukraine for helping al Qaeda and its affiliates.
