if AI performed as advertised and wasnt just a mildly useful (& addictive) tool thats been hyped up beyond belief it would still be exerting a deflationary pressure on the economy which would compensate for increasing energy prices.
95+% of the companies throwing AI at problems have problems which can't be solved with AI.
even where it helps it's usually just duck tape wrapped around badly implemented IT systems.
