Changes to Gemini model access and limits

I was using Gemini due to android integration. If I'm already being spied on every other product they offer free tier on, Gemini made sense since it's the same company that already has my data.

Any suggestions on what to migrate to, for android platforms and web search-like usage? Either for performance, free tier or privacy, since I know I cannot get all three!
