We have almost universal capture of ID and biometric information (like it's on your driver's license or passport), you have to present it in many places in the US, airplane checkin, car rental, hotel. It sure helps the government track you better, because at various points they do crap like capture your bluetooth watch or headphone id and associate it with you. You car has similar things.

Then when an evil force gets in power, like in the US, they can use it along with other ubiquitous info like the US' dystopian FLOCK and other cameras. Then an evil government can and pretty easily arrest people, find them.

I don't know about every person, only the government does. Abusers of power in the government or law enforcement know. Eventually wherever you live, an evil entity will get access to the data, an Idiocracy type government will come into power.

And as this thread talks about, nefarious hackers will be drawn to steal all data from these convenient government repositories. Now they can have much more accurate looking fake id, steal your identity even more deeply, and I would guess will look for blackmail opportunities.
