There has apparently been no confirmation of his death - Wikipedia still lists him as alive and editors there say there's insufficient evidence. If the linked article is true, maybe he faked his death.

Yeah, that's what started the speculation though. I grabbed the obit link from that discussion. The person who posted it, that's the only post they've made.

There's a lot of people who are bold enough fraudsters to fake their own death, but could never give up posting so long as they are actually alive.
