This is a pretty mean spirited comment that fails to recognise the realities on the ground. The US is a technological juggernaut which Europe just can't compete with, because it's not a level playing field. The US has multiple moats in the form of financing, computing power, tech talent and one language.

This is very much a welcome development and we should celebrate it.
