Well I do not really count, but I only eat seafood or venison, which bothy have higher long chain omega 3 and omega 6. I really have an issue with short chain PUFAs like from vegetables. I started this mainly because of my lipid profile. Very low HDL, high LDL, and a family history of herat attacks in our early 50's.
I found it helped my mood disorder stabilize and also my IBS-D.
I would say I get well over 2 grams a day though but to my the length and balance or omega 3/6 is important for me genetically.

I would say I am doing it, only better, because I know my genetics and what some people miss is the type of fats they need due to polymorphism in FADS1 and FADS2.
