So you admit they are a "bad thing", but you are annoyed I used the wrong word?

This is a petty gotcha, that's not what that sentence means.

The annoyance is that your personal judgement of "bad" is being wrapped up in emotional escalating language which equivocates, "I dont like this policy on immigration" with the history of genocide and total war in europe.
