Something will have changed: you’ll be poorer, they’ll be richer. It is a common fallacy to assume you’ll get to keep your Westerner middle class standard of living.
The idea that the rich get richer, while the poor get poorer is a natural phenomena observable universally across all societies, except a few outliers that are no longer around because nature selects the fittest societies to continue, and those societies didn't make the cut. Projecting morality onto nature only serves to convolute the reality of things.
The point my comment was trying to get at is there is zero evidence to support this phenomena ever changing.
