Depends who you ask. Many would say supporting companies that are so anti consumer is in a meaningful way contributing to the problem.
Many would argue using "free" media sources is more moral since you're not supporting what many consider to be evil companies.
They’d be wrong because you’re still supporting the platform by patronizing it in general, talking about it online, etc. You’re contributing to its popularity and legend. If you believed that Google is uniquely evil, then you should abstain altogether.
Say I know a pedophile cult owns a local pizza restaurant. A group of coworkers go there to eat, and I join. I eat a slice of the XL pizza. I don’t pay my part of the split because I don’t support pedohiles. Was this moral?
Given how many of Google's products are "free", not paying does not prevent Google extracting value/benefit from you. If they weren't getting some value from "free" services they offer, they wouldn't offer them in the first place:
The only way to 'not support' Google is by not using their services, even if they are "free". (And ad blockers aren't a counter to this (IMHO), because you're still supporting them with network effects.)
