Look at Germany Q3 2022 onward. They entered into the greatest economic crisis they've had since WW2. It's been dubbed the German Economic Crisis [1], and is primarily because of energy prices which, in turn, are because of Russia's brutally effective sanctions against Germany.
I may be missing something, but I don't remember Russia actually implementing any sanctions against Germany, just self inflicted pain; even the weird explanations about Russia being responsible about NS2 bombing to put pressure in Germany ended up being BS.
I was being snarky. It's because of German (and EU more generally) sanctions on Russia.
Maybe one should compare the slope of the line in 2010-2020 period vs 2022-2026 for Germany?
