I use it, it's not that slow for me, the main issue is a lot of websites block traffic from Tor. Funnily enough Reddit allows traffic from Tor but blocks traffic from my VPN.

I use it everyday for 75% of my browsing (Android, Mac, Linux). It’s gotten a lot better
