Is Microsoft selling the code of its proprietary products for AI trainings? Definitely news to me

Can you tell me what the definition of "clean-room implementation" is?

And after that, can you tell me if you can call something a "clean-room implantation" without disclosing 100% of the training data used for the AI model making this supposedly "clean-room implementation"?

Unless you have a reasonable argument why a random AI would be trained on Microsoft's proprietary code, I don't see what you're basing any of this on. If you need the definition of clean room, go to Wikipedia.

I don’t know about office, but there have been several major leaks of the Windows source code. It seems pretty reasonable to think that that leaked code has made it into Claude or Codex in some form.
