I second this. I've been using Lineage on older, second-hand OnePlus phones for about a decade now, currently a OnePlus 8T. You can pick them up pretty cheaply from eBay, and they're solid devices, often in near-new condition. Pair them with Lineage, and you're golden.

That might be coming to an end, though, if OnePlus no longer allows bootloader unlocking.
