I’ve had that situation too. I just didn’t do it.

I am not necessarily opposed to putting things like messaging or email on my personal phone but I’m not going as far as allowing the company to administer my personal device.

My #1 reason to never, ever do that is that it also gives company admins the power to remotely wipe your personal device. Spending weeks just to set everything back up the way it was, just becauce someone clicked the wrong button (or some "AI" agent was hallucinating a compromise) -- no, thank you.

Yup, if they want that, they can buy me a device.
