In the context of Meta trying to get non-technical people to embrace Muse agents to handle personal affairs, their internal metric showing a ~3% violation rate for mishandling personal information seems unacceptably high.

There seem to be no downsides to mishandling PI so I don't think it's a big concern to Meta

Not long ago we used to have regulators that protected users from companies pushing out harmful or consumer hostile products.

Regulators appear entirely toothless now, even here in Europe.

There is a reason this is US only, in Europe stuff like that does not fly
