Have you ever in your entire life used the word “conscient” until now? (not “conscious”!)

Sorry about that, then. But i think you understood the point.
In French, we say "conscience" and "conscient", so I naturally assumed the English words would be similar. French and English share so many similar words that it's easy to get caught out by a false friend!
Next time, I'll double-check with a translator!
