Show HN: Fold a sheet of paper until it reaches the Moon

Spoiler: it's a famous number.

'Guess again'

Our brains are notoriously bad at grasping exponential growth intuitively. We all know the classic math riddle that folding a 0.1mm sheet of paper 42 times will reach past the Moon, but seeing the scale visually makes the jump from tabletop height to orbit feel completely absurd.

I built a quick, tactile browser toy to let you fold it step-by-step and watch the milestones stack up (from human hair, to Everest, to GPS satellites, to the Moon).

No ads, no sign-up, just a quick web experiment. Would love any feedback or thoughts on edge cases/scaling!
