I used to live in this area in Berlin and immediately recognized it. It's weird, broken, dirty, rough and somehow exciting. And I'm gonna join the good tradition of people saying that it used to be better in the past because big money(tm) took over and changed things for the worse.

There were "the wrong Amazon is burning" tags everywhere in this area at that time which always made me smirk passing by.
