Show HN: Chiplab - Give your AI agent access to virtual hardware

We build embedded firmware for cars. AI coding agents can now build and test a web app end to end, but in embedded they stop at the code, because running it needs a physical board.

We built Chiplab because we wanted to bring that to embedded, so developers don't have to wait for a board, wait for a turn on the test setup, or dig through thousands of pages of datasheets.

Chiplab is an MCP server that gives your agent(Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, Codex and more) virtual instances of real microcontrollers. Your agent loads firmware onto virtual copies of your target chips, runs it, reads the output and can run test suites in CI.

Currently Support STM32 and Nordic, C/C++ and Rust, bare-metal through Zephyr and FreeRTOS. UART only for now but more on the way!

Happy to get any feedback!

Cool. Any plans to support ESP32 as well?
