The Google Gemini subscription landscape is such a mess... gemini.google.com welcomes me with "Look what you can do with Gemini 4", but the model selection is 3.6 Flash, 3.8 Thinking, and 3.1 Pro...
The others are quite bad as well in that regard, but on this particular metric, Google has always been top dog. Goes back to way before AI ever took off, BTW.
