The big two AI labs are still not listed on the stock market, and SPCX is still above it's listing price. Unless you can remain liquid more than the market remains irrational better find some other use for your investment funds. No?
Just short Oracle and Coreweave.
My chop block list has those, plus micron, amd, nvidia, sandisk, western digital, skhynix, corning and marvell.
Those should really eat a lot of shit if any of the two ai companies stops buying everything no matter the price.
Why Corning?
They make the fiber optic cables and such that connect everything.
Is fiber optic cable actually a high-volume-demand component in all of this? All your other semiconductor picks seem good though.
If I'd be guessing, it's the Ukraine Russia war and the tethered drones that could be affecting their valuation?
Right now it's what's propelling corning's price, same as in the dot com bubble.
Every single server with a dozen ethernet and/or IB ports that run something like four pairs in each connector for bandwidth, times 8 to 42 servers in a cabinet times a couple thousand cabinets in a building times a dozen buildings in one location. And then you need the fiber to connect all the switches together, and the buildings together, and then you need to tie the facilities into the wider world through various ways.
It adds up quick.
You absolutely should post about it when you short for good cause - there was a fund that earned it's money that way. Do research, find adverse fundamentals or malfeasance that are underreported, short the security, then publish your findings and let the market do its thing. IIRC, it was them that publicized that Nikola (Electric truck startup) faked their demo video by rolling a non-operative prototype truck down a stretch of slightly inclined highway.
