Fantastic comment, thank you. I knew some of this but not in that detail and some things I thought I knew got corrected. The whole pre-acquisition story of ATI deserves its own chapter too (and indirectly, Tseng Labs).
Yeah, I know very little of the acquisition of ATI by AMD. And do take anything I say with a grain of salt, not only because I was a nobody, but also because by brain has turned into swiss cheese after 20 years.
