The way I look at it is that if you can't be bothered to write it, why should I be bothered to read it?

Like computer graphics, you can only tell the obvious or bad ones.

Fine but I'm also not complaining if a director comes out and says "I'm making this movie without CGI" and i may in fact appreciate the result a bit more for knowing it. It's impressive when someone can do all their effects and lighting in-camera.

I've never seen AI writing be totally undetectable or on its own particularly good, but if it someday gets good enough that AI writing is indistinguishable, I'd still appreciate when someone goes out of their way not to use it.

If someone spits into your food, you also can't tell. So? What is the point of pointing that out?

What do you think is a more artful way of living, spitting into food undetected, or respecting the choices and boundaries of other people?
