If they move quickly by shipping crap they're just running towards a wall, the responsible thing is to not follow them.

fomo nonsense. not everyone has to jump off the cliff just because you are.

Way to go, you missed the point. The point is you can't conclude which speed to move at is responsible or irresponsible without significantly more information.

For sure you don't for what concerns responsibility towards your users, and anyone else that might be affected by your software
