Does this depend on the state you live in? A K-12 education in Massachusetts is different from K-12 education in Alabama to me. Although I am guessing this is an overall statement about the US.
Massachusetts- 99% have healthcare, longer lifespan than most developed nations, top US education system, diverse economy, wealthiest population, strong safety net, high minimum wage, safe communities w low gun violence, net provider of federal tax revenue, etc
